Gobi JSC Started the ISO 50001 Implementation Project
2026-06-08
Gobi JSC currently implements the international ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards. By implementing ISO 50001, the company aims to further improve its operations, increase energy efficiency, and reduce carbon emissions. As a result, Gobi JSC will become a more environmentally friendly manufacturer.
The project is being implemented in cooperation with Observe Star LLC, a consulting company with considerable experience in this field. On May 21, the two parties officially launched the ISO 50001 implementation project by signing a contract. The project is planned to be completed over a six-month period and will continue until December of this year.
The ISO 50001 international standard focuses on improving the efficient use of energy sources such as electricity, steam and heat, while reducing overall energy consumption. To achieve these objectives, the standard promotes changes in organizational culture, makes energy-saving activities more systematic, and increases the involvement of top management.
In addition, the results of energy saving activities are evaluated using measurable indicators, and improvement actions are planned based on collected data. Therefore, ISO 50001 is a standard that can bring real and measurable benefits to Gobi JSC.
