Environmental protection policies and objectives are being implemented

Gobi JSC participated in the "Billion Trees" national movement and organized annual tree planting in the 21st khoroo of the Khan-Uul District, "Aitsiin Am”. After planting 400 larch and aspen trees in cooperation with professional organizations in 2022-2023, we handed them over to the Landscaping Service Department of Khan-Uul District.
 

Waste management was first implemented in 2019 and has since undergone constant improvement. In order to reduce the amount of waste and further manage waste effectively, we have been cooperating with the NGO "Ongo Nem" since 2023. Within the scope of consulting services, the organization's entire waste stream is being studied structurally and fundamentally, and on the basis of that research, work is currently being carried out to increase the types of waste classification and modernize the centralized landfill. Aiming to reduce waste at the source and improve waste control, we are working to spread best practices in our operations by developing waste regulations and waste reduction programs.
